hey, say, for the sake of argument, Jesus, wasnt the messaih (Gasp). lets say the messiah is alive today and doing his thing, or will be soon. of course, he would have to die....the real question is, would people wear little gas chambers or electric chairs around their necks, and huge ones in churches?

Um, that's a very weird question - but IF the Messiah were to be here in this age, and He was put to death by modern means (crucifixion is pretty much out) then there would be some sort of symbolism to show His Sacrifice. It may not literally depict a chair or a chamber (or a syringe or a bullet), even the Cross of Christ may not have been the shape we traditionally see it depicted - it may look more like a "capital T" than a "lower case t" - but the short answer to your question is, yes, there would be some sort of symbolism displayed in churches, and even around people's necks.

I think that's an ignorant question, to be completely honest with you. if somehow the messiah was not jesus and was alive today and died (gasp) ...well...no, people wouldn't be carrying around little gas chambers and electric chairs...Jesus/the messiah had to fulfill a LOT of prophecies in order to be the messiah. If you read through the old testament and the Gospels you'll see all the prophecies Jesus fulfilled....one of them being the way he died.

Well let's thank God that he was the Messiah because we'd be in some serious trouble if we had to actually answer your question...It seems that it's safe to say that you didn't want to come out and say that we would find the biggest devils in the church...which means that the we wouldn't find the Messiah there.

Ha that seems well funny! No Gods timing is perfect, everything that happened to Jesus was written hundreds of years before it happened, so God knew exactly when and where to place his son to fulfil the professy. See, its all in hand, however bad this world becomes, and it will get real awful, its there in the bible, have a read, Daniel, relevation,so he knew all about the cross!

Hi. People can choose to wear or post the "symbol" of thier salvation, even if it is an electric chair... however I believe the symbol of our salvation is an empty tomb. Lots of people back in the day were crucified, but only One rose from the dead.

It shows you do not know your Bible . . . you see the method by which the messiah would be murdered was for told several thousand years before it was invented. (hang on a tree) - and when he was crucified, "people's eyes were opened" - so your little joke question comes up empty handed.

It depends. What if the messiah died by lethal injection? I'd much rather see people wearing little syringes filled with potassium chloride, now *that* would be cool.
