Unfortunetly there is no "Miracle cure" to magically fix your hair..But u can Get it Back close to the way it was With The right products..
When u hilighted your hair they stripped most of that pigment right out of your hair.. In lamens terms they "broke it and banged it up".
Sorry but u do not need cholesterol on your hair. U need protein and moisture u need to repair all that internal damage u have done.. U need something to get to the inside of those hair follicles and Cholesterol is not going to do it.. Not enough for your hair.. U have no elasticity in your hair.. Take a strand of your hair and pull.. See how easy it breaks? Needs fixed. U need Intense treatment done.. A regular deep conditioner will not be enough to get your hair back to shape... Below I am going to give u a website address of The best products out there.. I am telling u this... It is the best.... If u are really Wanting to fix your hair Then Don't go buy crap get the best stuff and use it.... I am not lying If I were I wouldn't even bother answering this question.. It is worth every penny... I would Give u the money back If u didn' think so.. That is how sure I am....
When u get to the website go to click on shop products then go to Resistance., Under that It will say weekened and damaged hair click on that.
If anything get the 5 day treatment U do not have to use it everyday just the next 5 times u shampoo.. It will tell u how to use it.. It is Unbelievable . It is called Forcintense.
I would however get the shampoo and the conditioner too but if u do not have the money start with the 5 day..
Alot of people want their hair to be great again after they Hi-lite it like crazy and unless u are willing to spend money and get the good stuff it is not going to happen...
These products Are In our salon.... I have been a Hairstylist for over 6 yrs now and I have delt with tons of product lines.. There is nothing that compares... Especially the 5 day treatment...
Use that .. Get a good deep conditioner to use once a week, and make sure u are trimming your ends at least every 8 wks and u will see your hair shiney and feeling wonderful ... Im telling u........... Need anymore help let me know.......
Also if you didn't want to purchase that online check around the more upscale salons in your area they might carry it also... But u will probley be paying more in salon...... Good luck.....

when your hair is wet, never use a brush or a small-toothed comb on it. it makes your hair stretch and is prone to breakage. for shiny hair, when blowdrying, dry the regrowth[aka:roots] first and work your way to the ends. this pulls the water in your hair down, so you are not constantly drying[ends] and redrying[regrowth] your hair giving a dull look.
for the dryness, getting a conditioning treatment like cholesterol[which you can buy at any beauty supply NOTE: there are updated conditioners out there]

Hahaha, curious said precisely what i became gonna say. purchase a number of the extreme line by using Redken. i'd especially especially recommend you get some Anti-Snap. It in reality infuses your hair with proteins, operating like a glue to carry lifeless ends together. And it smells fantastic! something from that line is genuinely going to save your hair.

Joico K-Pak Shampoo & Conditioner is the best for damaged hair.
Massage your scalp w/ a drop of jojoba oil.
Get regular trims to remove split ends or cut off as much as you can stand to start fresh.

go and get redken shampoo and conditioner, the one in the blue bottle. It rocks and it should fix your hair in like 2 weeks at the most.

Sorry to hear about that, hair is so important.
Try Nexxus Emergencee, use it with a conditioning cap or a heating cap, another idea is to bring it with you when you go to the salon and they can apply it for you.
Hope it helps.

Have you asked your stylist for suggestions? If not start there.
Many things can effect your hair. Sun, hormones, diet. Topical treatments are just one of the things that could be causing your problem. Good luck.

I'm sorry to say that you'll have to cut off the damaged hair and start over.
Hair is dead. Once it's fried, it's fried.
