Because it has never been explained in a way that could be understood by anyone who will not take a very flimsy explaination.
Exactly how can three people actually be only one ? How can a father be his own son ? Why is God refered to as the father, when the apostles creed says, " Conceived by the ghost "? That makes the ghost the father. Explain.
The church says "One God in three persons ". What are or is, persons. The plural of person is people.
The preamble does not say, " We the persons etc,etc ". Linclon did not say," Of the persons, for the persons, by the persons ". What's being hidden ? Why isn't plain English used ?
So now you know why I question the reality of Jesus and the others, or if they're all one, I should say IT.

The Trinity was invented by the Catholic Church in 391 AD at the Council of Constantinople. After that, the church began a series of brutal wars of extinction, completely exterminating several Christian cultures who refused to accept the Catholic Trinity. During the dark ages, hundreds of thousands of harmless people were brutally tortured and then burned at the stake for denying the Trinity. Because of the hypocrisy of the supposed universal church, there is nothing more deserving of my scorn than the Trinity. Pure unadulterated evil disguised as something sacred and divine.

Why do Christians doubt the reality of Buddha, Allah or other gods and deities? You believe people who believe differently from you are wrong. They feel the same way about your beliefs and do not understand why you don't see their truth. Christianity may have more believers than any other single religion, but it is not by far believed by the majority of people in the world. If you believe in it, fine...but it is a bit arrogant to assume everyone should because you do.

Although I profess to be christian, I have always had a problem with the Trinity.
All through the New Testament we read about a father, a Son and a Holy Spirit; this I understand but to combine them all into one then break them up again sounds like the riddle of the Quark's; I have spoken to many catholic priests on the subject and they all said that the trinity is a Mystery which cannot be comprehended by mortal man. I hope they are correct.

Yeah, I know what you mean, and then so many go off and mock Jesus just because he was a great man and a savior. If they want to be so "smart" why do they all decide to have the most abject and ridiculous arguments. Oh, and don't forget to add that at one mention of "God" or Jesus" 5,000 people jump on it to make sure that every single christian knows "how offended" they are.
It's because people don't want to see their opinion crushed by the truth.
God bless you too Jane!

Uh, because God is fake? You only believe in Jesus, God and the Holy Ghost because you were brought up to believe in Jesus, God and the Holy Ghost.
People that have learned to thing for themselves are not so fortunately. We cannot simply believe absurd myths because someone wants us to.

Preaching, sigh.....
Ok the Bible is not a historical book, it never was and never will be.
Other than the complete silliness of the stories. Evidence for God and his existence when compared to that disproving his existence is extremely poor.
Besides why is there so much doubt for Zeus! Why do you want to change him and his ultimate judgement on mortals!
Make Zeus Bless you too!

There is no evidence that there is a god. It is not reasonable to believe in things without any evidence. You would be stuck with every ridiculous thing that human imagination could come up with. No evidence essentially means that someone made it up.
Not believing in god is the same as not believing in Zeus, Aguta, Ishtar, Odin, Xenu, Hera, Anubis, Juno, and all the thousands of others since the evidence is exactly the same. I would be no less surprised if someone found evidence of Bacchus than I would be if they found evidence of your god.

I really doubt the existence of any god at all, so this trinity idea is completely ridiculous to me. There's just no reason to believe in a god, let alone to worship and pray to one.
