a week
i got my teeth pulled out (4 teeth two at a time (not the same week)different week and in the thrid week got my braces)so mine was a week
*getting them off in MAY (month of my b-day)

a week to be safe. or you can get braces first, then get the teeth pulled.

not sure, the might want to leave you mouth a few days, so it naturally settles, before deciding what type of brace is needed

Mine was a week. I think my orthodontist was trained by members of the Spanish Inquisition, though.
