To become a commercial pilot, you do not need to go to college. It will help you get a job, but it is not required. To be a commercial pilot, you need to go to a flight school and get your commercial pilots license. This will take some time. You will need to be able to pass a second class medical evaluation to fly people for hire. If you are the pilot in command of an airliner you will need a first class medical. You do not need 20/20 vision, however, you do need to be corrected to 20/20 vision. So in other words, you can wear glasses as long as it corrects it to 20/20.

I have included two links that will help you learn more. The first is to AOPA. They are a private organization that is one of the greatest guides to becoming a pilot. The other is the FAA website.

IFLYGUY has it to a tee. I would recommend college though, employers prefer some college. I am getting a degree in aviation. And it helps all around. Good luck
