ofcourse not that is burning either plastic or rubber
and the smoke from both is very contaminating to the air ,like burning tires
dont do that

burning anything is not good if you are considering the carbon and particulates that are released in the atmosphere. garden hoses are made with a lot of chemicals that are also released by burning, making it wore to burn than wood for example (unless you're talking about pressure treated lumber!)

putting a garden hose in a landfill is great either but the chemicals are released a lot slower and can be trapped in the landfill if it is properly lined and sealed when it is no longer used.

Absolutely not. Any direct burning outside that is not a natural resource directly from nature emits extremely harmful pollution that hurts the ozone layer and pollutes the environment. Think about this: everything that you burn will be breathed in by YOU.

It's not good to try to burn them with the water still connected - you'll waste a lot of matches.
