Okay athiest, you say you dont believe in Good because you say there is no proof. You say that Christains, Jews, Muslims and other religons that say Good exists, are wrong just because you say it cant be proven. Well you cant prove that The Lord doesnt exist, so why bother fighting. You say that disagreements over religion lead to fighting, but YOUR still fighting just the way they are, to see who's right. Dont you understand that the more you push, the more were going to push, and that will lead to nowhere. Why not just accept other peoples views, just like we do yours, and stop putting all this negativity on us.

Since this is to Athiest, what I think, is Christians are always trying to get the message out there to non believers and people who are always ragging on someone else's religion are in fact actually looking and hoping someone will come up with the answer that lets you finally believe.

Because it is difficult to see an otherwise intelligent individual brainwashed into believing in fairy tales.

If any of the 1000's of religions was right, there would be a demonstrable benefit for it's followers, compared to the other ones. And human nature being what it is, people would flock to that religion. But, alas, that hasn't happened.

"I contend that we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

religion promotes a philosophy that is full of holes and leaks like a sieve.
People dont want their children influenced by an ideology as illogical and unrealistic as some bible, thats peddled by the church.

The tenets of the bible are as wobbly as an old wheel barrow with a tottering wheel.
Also,..... if you read the bible carefully,.... and apply some common sense here and there,.... trying to find something plausable, is a virtual impossiblity.

And so therefore,...... whether you believe in God in Heaven,..... or Bob the Flying Billy Goat,..... neither are anything more than fanciful, pie in the sky.....

Nobody's putting any "negativity" on you... you people come out of the woodwork to seek our opinions by putting illogical questions like this in here. I keep my beliefs to myself until someone drops little duds like this one in here.

The logic that I believe works for me. You do what works for you and teaches you wisdom, altruism and compassion... nobody's knocking on your door preaching "atheism", and nobody's charging your churches protesting against your omnipotent creator being, nobody's rallying at your funeral services and screaming that your god is the reason our troop are dead, etc. so stop the madness.

The reason we keep doing it is because *you* may never change your mind but a lot of people are growing up undecided, or at least open to reason, and they need to hear both sides of the argument.

I thought this was serious until I saw the punch line "Why not just accept other peoples views, just like we do yours, and stop putting all this negativity on us."

Good one! ;0)

HOW HARD IS IT TO SPELL ATHEIST!! JUST PUT A IN FRONT OF THEISTS!!!
Yes, you poor poor mainstream Christian, I suppose you have been persecuted by atheists all throughout history. I'm sure your pastor told you atheists came up with the concept of Hell, or burning at the stake, or crusading, or using religion to justify slavery, or lying to children in our public education system....etc. etc.

Last time I checked, most atheists left people of other religions alone because they respected other people's beliefs.
