Not at all. I'm a Wiccan, and I see it often. I'll analyze it, and I've yet to find a critical article about my faith that was written by one who actually knew what they were talking about.

To be fair, I've also seen a bit about my faith by people who claimed to be followers but actually knew little themselves. Some of these can write things that make my faith look foolish, but that happens in every religion.

Without reading views, we have no answers to those who hold them. Understanding and having an answer to these views is called apologetics. This is a part of any serious faith.

No, I just answer them. Generally the opposing view is either flawed because of false premises or totally correct, and they have struck a point I also disagree with. Sometimes they are valid, but they contradict my opinion, although this happens rarely because few people critisize hinduism as it doesn't evangelise.

We are more open-minded people than some atheists think us, although I agree with atheists quite a bit on here.

The ones with no merit yes, but the ones with sincere critique are worth looking at to see another point of view.

No. I read everything I can get my hands on. Everyones viewpoints help your faith become stronger and I have the duty to study and find out the truth.

It doesn't hurt to read critical views about your faith as long as you decide beforehand that they are certainly wrong.

No, but I do avoid reading views that just regurgitate the same old misinformation over and over. It gets really boring.

you always have to question, and in fact it can help strenghten your faith. It is also good to be educated about views and faiths different from your own
