I would like to lose 10 pounds by Memorial Day. How would I go about that? I already watch what I eat. What else do I need to do? Thank you.

Losing 10 lbs sounds like a lot of weight for your height . . . do you really 'need' to do this?

You need to track what you eat, calorie-wise. When trying to lose a little bit of weight, sometimes its easier just to shave a small amount of food of your daily intake. If you normally eat a whole pork chop, cut a third of it off and toss it, same thing with a burger, even the "extra" fixins on a salad. Also, exercise. You've got plenty of time by memorial day to walk it off. Don't use a scale, but a measuring tape. Take all your measurements today, and keep it up every other week. When you start to build up muscle your shape will change but the scale may not budge much.

i don't think you need to lose weigh... i am shorter than you and weigh the same and i look like a stick!!! well anyway you got to do what makes you feel better! well you should drink green tea that speeds up your metabolism..... also work out a bit too!! you should over work yourself because you need to lose a little bit. but that should do the trick.. you are already eating well right? so yea.. maybe you should run everyday or take long walks or something.. good luck!

I calculated your BMI and no matter how old you are your body is fine. I liked weight watchers, because the results really are good. I think as long as you do this and keep up exercise everything should be good.

Your BMI is 20.7, which is perfect, it's in the slim end of the safe range. Don't bother losing weight, you're fine as you are. Go to http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ and check it out. They have info there on what is safe and what isn't.

walk or run at least 30 to 45 minutes a day, either outside or on a treadmill, but you sound just about right to me.
