I really want to know... no offence but why do adults always treat kids like they are little babys like i had this one chick come up to me and go ohhhh shes soo adorable...and when im in aproblem they think us kids dont understand i perfectly understand whats happening is it my fault i just want things my way because thats my not great personality but it is my personality...imin grade 7 btw

Oh you guys im not that stubborn i know it seems like it and im sorry for that but i really do love to give...And its not my parents its everyone else plus im very stressed im in every club in my school....................litterally im up for a award! BUt IM sooo pressured i just want to know why they think we dont know anything my dad and momsays i have the maturaty of a 30 year old but i think theyre kidding and i will always
be stubborn but i know noones perfect so please dont think that im just upset now

All I can tell you is this: In 7th grade, NOTHING makes sense... but things even out again by the time you get to high school. So, just coast and enjoy your life, best you can, right now. Wait a couple of years, and the ways of people will start making a little more sense to ya.

Because kids always feel like they know everything and although you may think you do in actuality you have not lived long enough to truly know everything. Even adults don't know everything. But the older you are the longer you have been around to learn more. And you being stubborn and wanting things your way is not really an age thing. It is a personality thing. you will probably always be that way. Unless you learn to give more when you get older.

The age of growing independence and still yet very dependent on your parents. Tough age. I think that we adults tend to forget what it was like to be your age and often think that your a kid because of how different things are in todays society. I wouldn't worry about it too much, it maybe aggrivating and what not, but don't let it eat at you, its not worth it. Soon you will be a young adult yourself and when you go and you see some preteen and think "darn kids" remember what question you asked here today.

It's a rough age your going through and it's going to get rougher until your parents learn to let go. Your trying to find your independence and they don't want you to grow up to fast. Its just as hard on them believe it or not. As for people telling you your adorable...bear with it. Remember there's probably a huge age gap and when your 20 they'll still probably think of you as a little kid. When you admit that people are growing up it means your getting old to.

puh-leeze...get over yourself. adults who care, like your parents and teachers, treat you that way because you need to be treated that way. you're a KID! "im in grade 7", like that means anything...
honey, i am 30 years old...i guess that would be "grade 50", and i STILL don't know a lot about a lot. dang, how i wish i had someone to treat me "like a baby" so i could think i knew everything while doing absolutely nothing.
you're spoiled, honey. talk to your parents about volunteering somewhere as a summer job.

because 7Th grade does not know anything about life...oh yeah you think you do....we all did....but you don't...you don't know what Love is...you don't know what sex is about, you don't know what dating is all about...you don't know what responsibility is... you all think you have under control and you don't. don't be so quick to grow up before you know it you ll be wishing you were a kid again...we all do...good luck and God Bless.
