I attended a Mormon funeral recently. Both prayers were quite complimentary to God, and it caused me to wonder...is He influenced by the soft tones and embellished praises uttered by the Mormons?

I think He's more persuaded by prayers of great humility.

it would desire to be...... however the chant you have written and all of us else is acquainted with approximately is erroneous. It does not initiate with AUM. It starts with Bhur and then all the different words shop on with. Whosoever extra Aum to it replaced into an ignorant fool (an fool in different words). it incredibly is like distorting the right mantra given via God. the chant honestly is the prayer of splendid God and via including Aum to it somebody has corrupted the full ingredient. it incredibly is like addressing a 'best Minister' as 'chief Minister' Do you think of a important Minister might like being addressed as a primary Minister? Likewise The above pronounced mantra is ineffective if began with Aum.

NOT!!! Scripture says that God knows the "Thoughts & Intents of the Heart" & that He knows our needs & questions before we ask! What God honors is a contrite Heart! Christ tells us in Mathew 6:1-15 exactly how we should aproach both Giving & Praying! V.3 "But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing!" V.6 "But you when you pray, go into your inner room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secrete will repay you!" So much for the Pompus & Arrogant! John

No, He is persuaded by the sincerity of prayers.

Who cares that those who prayed where Mormons? What difference does that make?

I'd like to know what influence mentioning "Mormons" had, just out of curiosity...what's so significant about that?

God's will is not able to be influenced. Christians praise Him because 1.) He is worthy and 2.) it is like torture to the eternal enemy to hear us praise and worship the Almighty.

I don't know about the Mormons.

Well, if you say something nasty about God, it's considered a sin, right? Seems reasonable to me if He'd hold that against you, that the opposite would be true as well, dontcha think?
Regardless, I should think in either case that if God knows what is really in your heart then words wouldn't make all that much difference anyway???

I don't think God is a "He" - It's a power. The Power of Love! You can't influence God. It just is. I believe that we are part of God - and we can influence ourselves - but living through love.

Hope that makes sense.

naa I think it is better to pray with more faith than flattering words... I think a person a person that does it from the heart and not just repeats 50 our fathers like a parrot is would be more important to him.

He inhabits our praise. If it wasn't empty praise, I am sure He loved it.
