can a satanist worship pagan gods???

There is a satanist spring equinox ritual that involves (Symbolically) invoking the nymphs and the greek god Pan.

so can a satanist worship the pagan gods???

~~~"The rule of Satanism is: if it works for you, great. When it stops working for you, when you've painted yourself into a corner and the only way out is to say, "I'm sorry, I made a mistake, I wish we could compromise somehow," then do it."
and i was wondering if this (if it works for you, great.) would also apply's to worshiping???
Yes.
Because a Satanist is not bound by any code of conduct to conform to what others think "Satanism" should be; and this includes past practices of founding groups, or the common subcultural secular groups that expound it under the guise of authority; the Satanist makes his or her own decisions about what is and what is not viable for achieving ones aims- a real Satanist is self-possessed and arrogant enough not to need others to support their decision. The genuine Left-Hand Path is despite comman day deceptions; a solitary one in which each makes their own way forward.
On that note, the ritual invokation of Dark Gods, is not a permanent fixture of practice in Satanism; the use of demons/deities is an early stage of development only to assist growth in Satanic character. The use of ritual invokation is later personally discarded ; Including, invokation of Satan.
You can if you want, I do know plenty of Pagans who have a more the 'Left hand' philosophy and still worship Pagan Gods....they don't usually call themselves Satanists though, typically Dark Pagans. You could say I am more of a Left Handed Heathen (both literally and figuratively).
But I have also known self described Satanists who do in fact worship Pagan Gods. Let me see if I can find a link (sent you the link). One of my friends, who is a (Theistic) Satanist does indeed celebrate the equinoxes and solstices.
There are some Daemonolaters who are also Satanists (because Satan is at the head of their Pantheon, or in their pantheon somewhere) and some of the polytheistic Satanists do worship other Pagan gods. I know that sounds strange, but it's true in some cases. A lot of the members in our temple are polytheistic Satanists and might also worship darker Babylonian, Greek, Roman, or even Egyptian Gods. Satan is in my pantheon, as are Anubis, Hecate, Leviathan, Buer... the list goes on. See how many different traditions we draw from?
For example, for many who practice Daemonolatry, all Gods are simply different aspects of the highest God (soft polytheist here). But they're also all Daemon (divine intelligences replete with wisdom). So all deities are fair game in Demonolatry and most of us put together our own personal pantheons based on the God-names and God-forms that resonate with us as individuals. A lot of Demonolators have Satan and/or Lucifer in their personal pantheons.
I'm sorry but this is ignorance.
Satanism is a christian sect that has nothing to do with paganism.
The Pan thing is medieval rubbish based on the premise that all pagan gods are actually manifestations of Satan, and modern juxtoposition of witch trial writings about worshipping a man-goat figure being wrongly called Pan.
To a Satanist the spring equinox is as meaningful as Ramadan.
As quoted what you are describing is Chaos Magic, not Satanism (though they are often confused).
If you really are a Satanist, rather than a confused adolescent, you should know that Satan takes 'thou shall worship no other Gods than me' as seriously as does Yahweh.
FTR I am a Pagan, christo-pagan by inclination, and wiccan.
(Definetely not a Satanist - shudder)
From what little I've read about Satanism, it's a philosophy of pleasing yourself more than a worship of any particular deity. So, I don't see how it could interfere with getting involved with another religion.
satanism is not a branch of Paganism. the spring equinox has nothing to do with satanism. but everything to do with Paganism.
Christians call everything that is not Christian, Satanism.
however there are vast differances.
satanism does not believe in a god or a satan. or any other gods. they use satan as a moniker for the dark forces of nature and the opposite to the hyprocricy of the Christian religion.
however they could just as well ust the pagan gods as the same symbol if they choose to.
As I recall, yes. Read the essay "-Wanted!- God: Dead or Alive!" [The first one] in The Book of Lucifer. That should give you a clear view of the premise of divinity.
Personally, I'm not a Satanist, but I draw a lot of my personal philosophy and thought patterns from it. But you know that already.
Technically Satanism is not a branch of Paganism. That doesn't mean that two religions can't have similar deities/holiday/etc, though.
A satanist can worship any gods she/he chooses. No one follows every tenet of their religion exactly down to the last word. Therefore everyone is actually eclectic. And to be 'eclectic' is to do what works for you, no matter the source.
Satanism, as its opposition that would be religion, is something almost silly. No, religion could be silly, satanism is just plain stupid. People dont need to workship nothing magical, or out of this world.
Regards.
