after anaerobic exercise tend to feel sleepy, so i just go to sleep. could this end up being bad for you? is there a reason why a person might get sleepy after an anaerobic exercise?

No. It's not bad.


It's normal to be sleepy, take a nap if you want to. You are sleepy because you run out of energy, it takes time to recover.


Professional bodybuilders do 2-a-day and sleep in between.


But there is one exception, if it's already one hour before sunset, don't do it, just go to bed a little bit earlier.

No, sleeping is not bad for you after strenuous exercise--in fact, it's a way for the body to recharge a bit, and is just as important to your health and weight as the exercise itself.

As long as you don't take painkillers to alleviate some of the after-workout ache before you go to sleep (which can undo all the gains made during exercise), I think you'll be just fine with an after-workout nap.
