my son dnt like it and i cant blame him it's too bitter i taste it myself. he pukes everytime i give him that. any suggestions? he's hurting right now...we want immediate relief for him...thanks. by the way, his pedia is off today so we cant contact him.

Give him the BRAT diet:
bananas
rice
applesauce
tea
These bland foods will be appealing but also rest the intestinal tract which helps with diarrhea.
The main danger is dehydration so be sure he is getting plenty of fluids and, if possible, give him pedialyte which contains the electrolytes he is losing from the diarrhea. Mosr children love the taste and drink it willingly. It can be purchased in any grocery store or drug store. Stay away from juice which will intensify the diarrhea.
