-crude oil and natural gas as the product of compression and heating of ancient organic materials over geological time-

Not only that but where'd all the dinosaur bones come from?

The oil and bones were put there by God during the creation just so you would ask this question and I would answer it in a good Christian way. See how far God looks into the future, how much control he has and how all knowing he is???

Sorry, I am really an Atheist just out for some fun.

BTW it is a great question, I have asked my wife a number of time. I get the "god you're stupid" look then an answer resembling the first paragraph of this answer. All I can tell you is give it up, they are well beyond any help we can provide. There are people that believe the world is flat and there is nothing you can do, no evidence sufficient to convince them otherwise. Some people BELIEVE in a fairy tale and they are just as dense. I believe both of these groups learned from the Christians, OOPs that's right one of them is the Christians.

Good day to you.

As others have said, the oil comes from compressed organic materials and extreme heat changes it to a petroleum based product. Dinosaurs did exist. We do have their bones and yes they are real. For some of you who are trying to figure out why this question actually makes sense, there are religious organizations who believe dinosaurs were never here. That they were made up by scientists who are controlled by the devil to help deceive the nations.

I am a Christian, and I believe that dinosaurs existed. But just because you find a bone in the dirt doesn't prove that it had parents different from itself, or that it lived "millions of years ago".
The dinosaurs lived in the era before the Flood. All fossils that we find today are a result of all kinds of animals drowning and getting subsequently buried in Flood sediment. (Fossils cannot be preserved unless they are quickly buried, and almost all fossils, except for those found in coal, amber and precious metals, are found in sedimentary rock).Animals are found in the fossil record according to the order in which they were buried, not the order in which they "evolved". Noah took baby dinosaurs on the Ark. Keep in mind that he only took "kinds", not "species". There are only about 28 different "kinds" of dinosaurs, so this would not be an impossible feat. Also, there are only about 8,000 different "kinds" of other animals; so if you bring two of most of these, and most of these animals are the size of a cat, you would have about 16,000 animals on the ark, not "millions" as atheists suppose.
After the Flood, dinosaurs lived with Man for the next 3,500 years, during which time they were called "dragons". Man killed off most of them and humanity eventually forgot about them until we started digging up the bones of those that died in the Flood. They were renamed "dinosaurs" in 1844. Human encounters with live dinosaurs have been recorded throughout history and even into modern times. In 1925, a plesiosaur washed up on the beach in Monterey Bay in California. A photo was taken of it. It is obviously a dinosaur and not a whale or a shark. (Show me where the 20 ft. neck is on a whale or a shark). There are reports all over the world of living plesiosaurs, cadborosaurs, diplodoci, pterodactyls and others. If they died out 65 million years ago, these sightings would be impossible. However, if the Earth really is only 6,000 years ago and dinosaurs have always lived with Man, then these sightings are quite believable.

lol. Actually, its unlikely that it came from dinosaurs. Most likely it came from smaller creatures like plants since oil is carbon based. Though I suppose its possible.

Incidentally, I do believe in dinosaurs. Growing up, I intended to become a Paleontologist. Though it didn't happen, I was even in contact with a fairly famous Canadian Paleontologist who invited me to come and study with her. I wish I had done it, especially given that she said there would be no charge, and she's feed and house me while I studied with her for a year to decide if I really wanted to become a paleontologist. Stupid me. It was the oppurtunity of a life time.

I believe in dinosaurs for their bones have been found. But I don't believe that they died millions of years ago. Archeological drawings show that dinosaurs interacted with men. It is just that I don't have the link in my history. I will have given you.
