Yes, times have changed. In the good old days of 100+ years ago, everyone knew everyone else and went to school with them, so over time everyone got to know who was suited for them to be married to. But in today's world with both parents working and a lack of connection to the neighborhood and no connection to the older generation to get mentoring advice, most people are on their own and do not know how to read body language or even have a basic understanding of the opposite sex. In fact, I think it is a wonder that so many people actually DO get together - which, by the way is why there is so much casual sex - first of all because either people cut their emotions off and then get addicted to the stimulation of sex for sex sake - or secondly because they are really looking for an emotional connection but are afraid they will strike out in that area so the make it appear cut and dried so they won't get emotionally hurt by pretending not to seek it in the first place. This subject, by the way, has stimulated me to consider starting a class for people to learn how to know whether someone is really interested in taking the next step - or just being freindly. Good question - I'm giving it a star.

Times have not changed. I still get a variety of responses from women. The women either are up-front and blunt or avoid me completely. I just now had a woman whom I told her that I liked her who ignored me and never returned my e-mail and phone call. Another woman called me by my last name and said to leave her alone. So, things are still the same.

Times have deffinetly changed alot. Now adays i think people think to much about sex and not feelings. People will act like they like you just to get in your pants then dump you. Thats what I've seen.

Yeah things have changed. It is almost impossible to read people now, in my opinion.
