I bought some the 31st of March and it's been in the freezer ever since. How much longer until it's no good?

30 days - until the 30th of April or you might get freezer burn.

Your Dad is too lazy? How about you cleaning the weeds? Food in the freezer will last way beyond it's sold buy date. I would probably start worrying when it gets freezer burnt. But I guess maybe up to 2 years. If things are preserved and canned even longer.

It should be just fine.

A good rule of thumb is three months for meat that has been well wrapped, so that it doesn't get freezer burn. (Freezer burn is the leeching of moisture out of the meat, which turns it a grayish colour.)
