I recieved this email a little while ago from a friend....

Dear Friends,

I am writing to ask that you keep Rick Marks, a life long friend of mine, his wife Emily and especially their son Lawrence in your prayers. Emily was expecting twin boys in early August, but one of her amniotic sacs ruptured at only 21 weeks causing a premature deliver of their son Charles 6 days later. Charles fought hard for 7 hours, but died later that day. Their other son did not deliver for another 6 days and was born on April 4th at only 23 weeks, weighing 1 lb 3 oz. Lawrence is in the NICU at Baptist South here in Montgomery. His condition continues to improve, but is very fragile. Please visit their website for updates on his condition.

Yes, and please tell your friend not to give up hope, God can do wonders. I have a Nephew that was born at 6 months, he too weighed 1lb and 2oz. He lost down to l lb. We watched him grow is an incubator. He is now 27 years old and although he has some problems, he has always been able to work and raise a family, we are greatful he is here the doctors said if he lived he would all ways be slow. He graduated 18th in a class of 150. We call him our "Miracle Baby". God is so good.

All my usual parody aside:

Absolutley. I will pray for the family and this little fighter. It breaks my heart up to see a tiny little baby suffer like that born too soon. See, I can't even be mean for the rest of the day because I am up here crying like a punk. I'm going to go light one of my Jesus prayer candles right now and pray for this lad that he will be a strong fighter, and hang on in there, and his parents and their families will pull together in this difficult time.

Blessings.

I will keep Rick, Emily and Lawrence in my thoughts and prayers, may God send them all the strength and courage they need to meet this challenge, and help Lawrence to grow in to a healthy young man....

Kafir: I hit thumbs down by mistake, it wasn't intentional, I wanted to give you a thumbs up, and they don't give you a way to change it, honest!!!!!

Prayers achieve nothing you know dear ?

Believing that invisible things are watching you, listening to you and influencing your life are symptoms of schizophrenia, a serious mental disease.
