Don't buy that crap and I'll tell you why.
Do a test, take a use jar of Skippy peanut butter (don't wash it).
Put some water in it, then after about a week open it.
Smells like poo don't it.
Now buy a natural peanut butter (the ones with the oil on top).
Do the same test.
Smells like peanut butter.
Yeah I know it's a pain to mix it, but the taste is a hell of a lot better.
And it don't smell like crap.

No. Skippy was not produced at the same plant as Peter Pan. No Salmonella tennessee cases were linked to Skippy peanut butter, therefore, they were not investigated as part of this outbreak.

The investigators determined that the source of Salmonella tennessee contamination was a ceiling leak. Therefore, peanut butter NOT made in the plant would not be aprt of the outbreak.
