Well, also Chinese, Russians, Arabs, and yankis speak Spanish as well.

I thought that in the USA, school was mandatory, at least the elementary. How did you manage to avoid going to school ?

You really don't know the answer to that? Maybe you should go back to school and try paying attention this time. The reason it's called Spanish is(quite obviously) because the people that are from Spain speak it. And Spanish is spoken every place in the Americas that was settled by the Spanish all those years ago.

In Latin America, most countries from Mexico and Cuba to Argentina, excluding Brazil, Belize, the Guianas and Suriname (along with the lesser Antilles). Spain in Europe. Equatorial Guinea in Africa. The Philippines in Asia (due to cultural influence from the past)
