To be rooted in His love?
I came across these scriptures today when I was reading my bible and I wanted to share them, and ask if you thought about this lately:
Ephesians 4:11-16
11And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,[a] 12to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,[b] to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Yes I most certainly do!
When trials come - I remind myself that God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.

When someone comes against me - I remind myself that God loves me, no matter what.

When I am under pressure, I call out to God to help me through.

When I am in need, I remind myself that God has promised to supply all my need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

When I need to forgive, I ask God to give me grace, and remind myself of the grace and forgiveness shown to me by Jesus.

How wonderful the truths of God are!

you spot, there are 2 American spirits. one that roots for the underdog, and one that crushes the underdog with nuclear warheads. the actuality is, individuals merely want to be on the prevailing factor, and while that factor is the underdog, we sing the distinction of David slaying Goliath, and as quickly as we are the clean chief, we sense as merely and righteous and indomitable as Superman.

You need to go here, to confirm that the pillar and ground of God's truth is, and will always remain, the one Church that Jesus pesonally founded, to teach, to sanctify, and to govern, in his holy name, until the end of time:

1Ti 3:14 These things I write to thee, hoping that I shall come to thee shortly.
1Ti 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

I'm glad you cleared that up that it was for believers. I was going to answer and the answer was going to be no. Now I don't have to answer though.
