My friend invited me to his bar mitzvah and we're pretty close friends. I was wondering what to wear because this is the only thing that is annoying me. I'm a girl by the way

Wear something that will most definitely cover ALL of your cleavage as you don't want his mom, aunts or any older female relatives giving you the hairy eye ball as it were. Also something in a nice medium blue or even green mid-calf length dress with your hair done nicely(this is a bar mitzvah you know) and some modest stud earrings( NO facials of any kind, you don't want to give the poor guys mom a heart attack here) and you'll look fabulous darling! Simply fabulous! I should know, I just went to one recently and should write a book about all the things that went wrong! Not to mention all the things people wore that sent the poor young man's mother into a fit of the vapors!

I went to a BAT Mitzvah last year for one of my friends. We weren't CLOSE friends but the dress code shouldn't be any different. There is a little more info I need though. Is it a party, ceremony, or both? With just the party any clothes are fine. If you are going to the ceremony it is a BIG deal. He has probably been studying his whole life for this. (I'm not exaggerating!!) Wear a dress. Not a prom type dress but a cotton-type dress with a sweater if the sleeves are skinny. Make sure it goes to your knees or below. Wear any shoes (I suggest flats though). If you don't have a dress wear a NICE LONG skirt. No pony tail in your hair either!!! and don't wear pants!! If you still can't decide or this doesn't sound like any you have ASK HIM!!! He doesn't expect you to know and neither does anyone else. Just say "Hey! I'm excited for the Bar Mitzvah/ or I can come!, etc." and ask "What should I wear?"

Jewish is a faith. Christianity is a faith. I nonetheless won't be able to be sure out what Messianic Jews are in words of religion. considering the fact that Jesus doesn't better healthy the interest description of messiah, I an perpetually puzzled by using Messianic Jews (who in the adventure that they have got self belief that Jesus is the Messiah, by using definition, are not to any extent further Jews). i imagine I understand the necessary theology of maximum of Christianity. i imagine I understand the necessary theology of Judaism. yet, i don't think of that from a logical perspective, you may only slap both together and declare to be Jewish. It makes better experience to assert your a Hinjew (because Hinduism is all inclusive and that i respect Ram Dass). yet, I digress. considering the fact that Christianity is unique in its conception of Jesus, i only can't wrap my mind round something spoke of as Messianic Judaism. that is type of like an "excuse" to no longer be Jewish and be Jewish together at the same time as that is not any longer Jewish in any respect. on to community criteria: I even do not comprehend why solutions were bumped off because i'm able to't see what they were. perchance, someone inadvertently (or no longer) printed anti-Semitic comments or something. i imagine that probably the most proper element you need to do is, in case you've faith in Christianity, to face up for what you've faith and make contact with your self a Christian. To one way or the different attempt to envelope it in Judaism appears better than somewhat deceptive. that is only my opinion, in spite of the indisputable fact that the time period Messianic Jew only makes me shake my head in utter disbelief.
