This question misrepresents what Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible to teach about the "anti-Christ". However, it is undeniable that Christendom has worked to betray God and Christ.

Because Jehovah Witnesses are an Occult. They believe that their way is the ONLY way. If you read the Bible, you can clearly see that the way they believe goes against what God's Holy Word proclaims.

The antichrist represents those people who don't have respect for Jesus and are against his teachings.

"Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour." -- John 2:18

"Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son." -- 1 John 2:22

"But every inspired expression that does not confess Jesus does not originate with God. Furthermore, this is the antichrist’s [inspired expression] which YOU have heard was coming, and now it is already in the world." -- 1 John 4:3

"For many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." -- 2 John 7

Religious leaders accused Christ himself of being demonically possessed. It is impossible for Humans led by "religion", to accurately determine who is influenced by the Anti-Christ spirit, or recognize it in themselves.

It is only through the Word of God, and spiritual discernment, that we can accurately test and expose this spirit.

One of the main signs that someone is led by the Anti-Christ spirit, knowingly or unknowingly, is when they make an assault on the Word of God, by twisting scripture and perverting Truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 - Prove all things; hold fast that which is good

Acts 17:11b - Those led by the Holy Spirit "received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try(test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

I don't know if Jehovah's Witnesses have ever put into print the claim that Christian pastors and ministers are the Antichrist, but, as Pinkribbon said, "we do not limit this title to just clergy", so perhaps they do.

Anyway, I got a leaflet from them recently and they do say (in print) that false religion (churches that meddle in war and politics, spreads false doctrine, tolerates immoral sex) "will be chopped down and destroyed!" They quote from Revelation 17 and 18 about the harlot sitting on the back of the seven headed beast and say "this harlot is a worldwide religious entity. She depicts, not any one religion, but all religions that produce rotten fruit. The beast that the harlot rides pictures the world's political powers. False religion straddles the back of this political beast, attempting to influence its decisions and to control its direction. God will call false religion to account for all the despicable acts she has committed in his name. In a stroke of perfect justice, he will use her political paramours as his instrument of execution."

Now, to make this crystal clear, dear readers, that means every single religion on the face of the planet (bar JW's) is a part of false religion. So that makes Catholics and Protestants part of this harlot. That's you and me, folks. They are strangely quiet about other world faiths.

So, whether or not JW's believe Christian pastors and ministers are the Antichrist, JW's have publicly declared that if you aren't one of them, then you are a part of false religion - part of the symbolic harlot described in Revelation, and God is going to destroy her.

Sorry if I couldn't answer your question specifically, but I hope this helps everyone out there to get a better understanding of what JW's believe with regard to other Christian religions.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a doomsday destructive cult who exploit and prey on our fears.Their core dogma is that Jesus had his second coming already in 1914 and is working 'invisibly' through their Watchtower organization.

They 'trash' all other religions because the 'other' religions have rejected this (false) Watchtower claim.

We do not limit this title to just clergy. Anyone can be an antichrist. The word antichrist means against Christ. Those who teach false doctrines are the antichrist. Read about what an antichrist is in the epistles of John.

Shouldn't all religions more fervently oppose one another. They are all incompatible with one another.

Only those who fit the definition of Antichrist. Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. The term applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah.
