I treated them well.
Someone else killed them for me to eat.

I get to be honest and say I treated them with kindness. I am one of the few that will wreck my car before I run over a little rodent (stupid, I know.) And, I don't let my dog attack them, even though he nearly breaks my arm pulling on the leash to eat you little fuzzy tailed animals.

I've shot a few. They are basically rats with big tails. If you get enough, squirrel brains ain't bad eaten' either.

I gave them food, and I learned how to cross the road from them.
It's fun to play squirrel in traffic.

I occasionaly almost run into them but its by pure accident and I think that they really do throw themselves at cars as a game.

That I scratched their little heads, rubbed their little bellies and left peanuts and water out for the wild ones.

That I left out peanuts and corn cobs full of dried corn for them, built them a nesting box and hung it on my tree and kept my cats inside so they wouldn't eat them :)
