im tring 2 convert avi 2 play on my dvd player with a free online downloadable software and not trademarks on the middle of the screen or anything like that

There are many pieces of software out there that do a great job,2 of the best are Cucusoft avi to dvd,or VSO software both very good you can even convert from NTSC to Pal and vice versa with the Cucusoft.Go to WWW.DOWNLOAD.COM and type the names in the search bar.
