I pretty have everything off the steering area other than the steering wheel and the tools i have i don't no if there right so i need to no what tools i need to remove it so i can get to the ignition switch

The car won't start i figured all that out but my wife had pushed the ignition switch and after she did that i haven't been able to get the car to start wit the key pretty much meaning the car's not going anywhere.

you don,t have to take the wheel apart there is a big nut that you have to remove and pull the bottom cover off of the bottom there should be a couple of screws, (disconnect the battery first) the air bag will not go off , The 2 screws hold the air bag remove them and unplug air bag remove airbag,pay close attention to how it comes off , However if you are not up to it take it to the dealer and let them fix it for you good luck and be careful

Take it to the dealer, unless you know in detail what has to be done to keep from triggering the airbag. If you're in front of it when it triggers, it can push whatever tools you have in your hand into your body, your face, or your eyes. And even if you're not there, it'll cost you at least $800 to get another one.
Save yourself the hassle and the risk - go see the dealer.

i alwayys let dealer do it...dont mess with airbags
