Out of the first 8 answers only one actually answered the question you asked. I find this to be the norm, they say they want proof and when handed the proof they deny it or try hopelessly to explain it away. God has given so much proof already that you have to be half blind or deceived to not see it.

When you have a definition of "God", then ask your question, as your as foggy on the subject as anyone could be.
What is "God", a "God" or why must there be such a "person, thing, it, whachamacollit...
Then there come the very definition of "proof"...what is proof?
A houdini trick? An image of a man walking on a cloud with a white beard, cane, the whole nine yards?
God is a very open subject to those with open minds.
"Believe in God" is worse than all the above...believe what, that God can kick a 98 yard field goal or out swim a Dolphin?
Or, with all sillyness aside, could it be a belief in ORDER and FAIRNESS coupled with a singular idea of whats right and wrong or who will be angry with you if your wrong in conduct and not right? And maybe, what might happen to you IF you screw up all the above?
Is this what your searching for? A "God" to look at and say, hey, sorry dude, it was a bad hairday, so, well, I shot my dog for pissing on my new carpet?
Look directly in the mirror, take all responsibility for your own actions alone and "God" will reveal himself to you as God is the essence of you, you made God, God is. When you do something Right, that feeling is God, that is what fills you up, it does not need a name, "Gods" place to live is you, the Holy Grail is you. It's been under our noses forever, yet, religions teach that "God" is separate, the "holy grail" is a "thing" and gives nothing to us, the creators.
Everything has been given away, stolen, by those who think in the materiel world...

What proof do you have ? I've been searching for evidence, proof isn't needed from all the leading religions of the world. Some tiny scrap of evidence. Everything comes up blank.
Sure, some will say, " Look around and see all the beauty of the world. that's God's work ". If that's so, then all the misery, death, suffering, hunger is his work also.
So again, to believe that a "god" exists, I would have to have a tiny bit of evidence. Where can I find it ?

How about appearing as a 40 foot high humanoid, moving objects with the power an outstretched finger, stopping earthquakes from happening, pushing an asteroid out of the way...
Than sort of thing.
Not going to happen, is it? It would be so easy to prove existence, but it doesn't ever actually happen.

Here's an example: I'm thinking of three books right now. If your God is real, it would be child's play for him to know which ones I'm thinking of. He could tell you (or any other believer) right now and you could write back to me with the titles.
Hint to the creator: I'm thinking of 3 books. They are not The Bible, The Koran, nor The Book of Mormon.
I'll be waiting.

A burning bush and the voice of God was good enough for Moses. Why couldn't I get the same courtesy?
If God wants me to do something, he's going to have to ask.

Jesus should appear before me (like, out of nowhere, not just walk in the room), chat for a bit, perform at least two miracles, then bodily rise into the air and go back into heaven. For some all-powerful being, this should be an easy thing to do.

I'd have to witness the Creation, and then I'd run several tests on it. Then I'd sumon all the most reputed subject matter experts, to run tests and compare their results. Then we'd all publish a paper on the subject, in order for it to be either confirmed or refuted by the top authorities in science, all that before I believe anything about a "god".

I don't need proof, I wouldn't believe even if god descended from the sky

Seeing is believing. If your god was so powerful I would have thought it would be no effort at all for he/she/it to have revealed itself to all, in such a way that there was no doubt whatsoever that it existed.
The same goes for any of the 1000s of so called gods.
