Specifically - Jesus didn't say a damned thing about homosexuality (at least, not that was recorded in the Bible).
But you already knew that, didn't you?
Hey Wisdom Reanimated - of the old rules still apply, when my eye gets poked out, how do I turn the other cheek after poking out the other guy's eye? The new rules have to supersede the old if they contradict each other. And they do.

Jesus did not mention anything about homosexuality, at least I don't think. But, the Bible, and specifically the Apostle Paul, clearly denounced homosexual acts. Both the Old Testament and the New Testament testify that God abhores and disapproves such acts. Soddom and Gamorha (sp) were destroyed by God because of homosexuality. So it's clear that God's intention for mankind is for a woman to be with a man. (You know the saying, "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve"). And though God hates the sin of homosexuality (because it's a sin) He doesn't hate the person suffering from it. Whether you argue that homosexuality is a disease or a choice or genetics, it's all part of God's judgment on mankind because of sin. Christians, real Christians, do not hate homosexual people, they just don't condone the sin--just like any other sin. But even Christians themselves are under this curse, this judgment, from God, and so some are fighting their own battles within concerning these homosexual feelings.

Good question...because you are right...Jesus never spoke the word homosexual...
However, the fundies will say the Bible was written by God...
However, that is not even in the Bible...for II Timothy 3:16 says the Bible is given by inspiration of God...it is the inspired word of God...written by human beings who brought their own ideas, customs and prejudices into their script.

it is extraordinarily imprecise, there is entirely some thing there in case you nitpick approximately translation. additionally we would desire to continually observe that Sodom replaced into not destroyed for the human beings's sexual acts, yet because of the fact there have been not 8 sturdy human beings interior the city. additionally not each and all of the adult adult males of Sodom may well be homosexuals, as that could propose a loss of breeding inhabitants, and the city might've died out. they did not have IVF regardless of each and everything, or magazines and turkey basters.

Jesus said a man should leave his parents and find a woman for himself and then they will become one. So what God has bound, no one should unbind. He did not say a man to look for a man.
God bless you in Jesus' name.
