Yesterday my friend asked me if i could lend him some money ($10) so i agreed it's not like it was alot. But he and I dated and in our conversation he brought up the dates we had gone on and pointed out the "times we went out to eat and that he paid for them". Were not dating anymore he wanted for us to have a relationship but i didn't want to, but we still talk. Since he brought up the money issue with our dates i feel like he's trying to get back at me for not wanting something with him. He's working full time and i know he has a case full of money (i've seen it). He said he needed the money for gas because he was saving money for summer school tuition but he told me like a day in advance.. no it wasn't an emergency.
What is he trying to tell me? ..I feel like he's charging me for the money he wasted on me! or am I wrong?

Its hard to say but it sounds like he may be trying to make you feel guilty about the money ne spend on you, and it seems to be working. Dont borrow him anymore money and next time he brings up the dates, tell him that nobody forced him to spend money on you, it was his choice. Then you can tell him that now you know why you didnt want a relationship with him, he is cheap.

Well darling,,,, if he is saving money ... why would he need a LOAN.... ask him when he expects to pay you back... if he isn't going to pay you back it isn't a loan.... If he brings up the past $$ he spent on you just ask him if he enjoyed the dates and the time he spent with you.... that's the price ya pay... and a gentleman always pays and doesn't complain. If your a real man you don't ever expect a woman to pay. Nor to be repaid in any way. Tom Likus isn't a good role model,

When did it become uncool to be a Gentleman?

You are kidding right? He is trying you to the 12th degree! Don't give him any money, he shouldn't have dated you expecting anything, doesn't sound like he is a very good friend if he is trying to get back at you!

Wow what a loser, good thing you don't want anything to do with him. However since that is the case, you shouldn't care anymore. It's over and don't look back.

Sounds like he is taking advantage of you and using you as an ATM. Put a stop to it now! He is working and has money--he is just bitter.

Wow, that's a new one! if it happens again, ask him (not in a sarcastic tone) whether that's what it is about. pay him up if he thinks this whole dating business was a business and he wants to claim his expenses and if you are willing to do that so that he can stop annoying.

Wait, ignore my answer if you don't like it. Wow, that's a new one! (again).
