we recently had a sun tube fitted in our bathroom as there is no window. it was fitted by our builder who we are now in a legal dispute with. can anyone tell me if the external panel of the sun tube should be fitted on the south side of the roof, as ours is on the north side and lets little light through, making it useless. we still have to turn our bathroom light on during the day.(i didn't get to see the fitting instructions) any advice please?

The sun tube would work much better on the south side of your roof and should have been put there when it was installed. It will involve cutting holes to move it and you should get a qualified roofer or builder to move it if your not comfortable working on a roof. I hope you can get it moved because the sun tube is a great solution for dark areas in your house. Good luck with this
