A conversation becomes a gossip when the story is not supposed to be told to anyone and expressed with malice to destroy a reputation.

Gossip is talking bad about someone or talking about a subject,mistake,or embarrassing moment that they don't want any one to know. Also gossip destroys your rep and is another form of lies. The other person will probably be upset and have they rep destroyed

Gossip is a conversation about someone who is not participating in the conversation and it would not be voiced if that person was there. Please do not participate in gossip. It hurts everyone.

gossip has an aim of malice in it
