I'm getting married in June and I kinda placed myself in the position of getting music together. Currently my fiance is walking down the aisle to Kenny Chesney's "You Had Me From Hello". I was wondering what country music I should play while the guests are walking in, what we should walk out to, and any other music to play at the reception. any help you guys could give would be great!

As a wedding DJ, I can tell you that the music is the most important part of the reception after the food.

I do agree with the answers that say for both of you to sit down and pick out the music together. If country is liked best, there are ALOT of good songs to choose from.

What the bridal party walks out to can also set the tone for the dancing part of the reception.

One wedding I will never forget had the bridal party walking out to the song "Save a horse, ride a cowboy" and they immediately danced to the song as they were called in. The songs set the mood.

You two need to decide what type of mood you want, the type of music most of you guests like (It really does matter), the age ranges of the people at the reception (also very important),

If you can afford it, get a good DJ or do what my friends at church did for theirs.... have the guests bring Cd's of the music they liked and go from there.

Hope this helped and Good Luck on your marriage!!!

i will bear in mind that back in intense college. This clique of girls folk would continuously attempt to take a seat down it out and then make relaxing of those people who have been a minimum of attempting. My gymnasium instructor did no longer post with it, she informed them the two take section or they have been given sent to detention lol. She made nor time-honored any excuses for every person. there become one gal in the class who claimed she could no longer take section because of the fact she become pregnant. day after immediately, the instructor had her do specific workouts apart from the class! I bear in mind listening to the instructor say to the gal, "you need to workout to verify you have a healthful toddler!" I enjoyed it that the instructor did that!

You should sit down together and pick out the music together. My son and fiancee did this and it is working out fine.
