I believe in Both!

As Origen once said, "...it is only my folly that leads me to imagine that these two truths can ever contradict each other."

Evolution

I accept evolution and I see no reason to do the same for god. But the vast majority of people don't see it as a contest. They take both.

Both. G-d created us (I believe), but evolution is the tool that he used to create us. As you can see microevolution has already been proven. Animals adapt. You can see that and I assume that macroevolution is basically what happens when micro is given a long time to take place. Also, for those who seem to think that Darwin said when descended from monkeys, I think you might have misinterprented him. I could be wrong but I think he said that we are related to them, which in my opinion is a logical observation, and dna proves that we are.

As for the creationist thing, I'm Jewish, and we believe that that's just allegory.

God.

That is what I have come to believe. Call me close-minded, ignorant, dumb or whatever, but that will not change the fact that I do NOT accept evolution. To me it just did not happen, the evidence that scientists use, can be switched around and fit in with Creation. That is my opinion. I already know that thumbs down are coming my way. So here's to them all.

I believe in God. Evolution happens but the evolution theory is a theory. I believe that the Bible is true. I believe in Genesis record because it is my God's eyewitness account on what happened in the beginning. : )

I believe in both.

Here is a passage from one of the Hindu Scriptures, called the Mundaka Upanishad:
"The deathless Self meditated upon Himself and projected the universe as evolutionary energy. From this energy developed life, mind, the elements, and the world of karma, which is enchained by cause and effect.
The deathless Self sees all, knows all. From him springs Brahma (God as creator), who embodies the process of evolution into name and form by which the One appears to be many."

God and micro-evolution.

From personal experience, on the God point. Micro-evolution looks fairly well supported in nature.

Let us suppose that millions of years ago a cell was formed which had acquired everything necessary for life, and that it duly "came to life". The theory of evolution again collapses at this point. For even if this cell had existed for a while, it would eventually have died and after its death, nothing would have remained, and everything would have reverted to where it had started. This is because this first living cell, lacking any genetic information, would not have been able to reproduce and start a new generation. Life would have ended with its death.

Both. They're not mutually exclusive, except for people with tiny little brains. god could well have created a universe in which life evolves from a lower form to a higher form.

Evolution all the way. It makes a lot more sense.
