Well since I'm a single mom I can sure answer this onew good for you. There are alot of pros from this woman being alittle more patient and humble and if she has you around her children she will defintly be towards a committed relationship between you two, because to me the children are the most oimportant here and I believe if she has the same rule as mine about protecting her children she is defintley a catcher for you!! The cons to this is defintley the time issue and there is always someone else before you got it?

Let's do cons first. The first obvious thing is time restraints. A woman with children couldn't readily up and go at a moment's notice. She can't hop a plane and go away with you for the weekend. There may also be some baby daddy drama if the breakup between her and her ex wasn't a good one. There is of course the issue of do you like kids? Do you see yourself as the father figure because if you are taking her, you MUST take the children. If you are simply "settling" for the children, then you shouldn't date her. Kids deserve more than for someone to simply tolerate them. Okay, some pros. She is probably fun, kids definitely keep you young! She's nurturing and mature and stable, and couldn't possibly be selfish. She's probably a good cook and enjoys taking care of people. There's a nice feeling when you go home and find people there waiting for you, a family who loves you and is excited about seeing you. I really can't think of anything else.

I think the pros are that she is not going to be as needy but the obvious cons are that she has a kid.

con - especialy for her, if the kid gets attached to u and then it doesn't workout between u and the mother, thats seriously going to hurt the kid. but if u really think u guys can last a really long time, then i guess it's fine!
pro- usually single mothers r really nice

Single moms have to be on top of the game so will likely be self-reliant and responsible. The down side is that they have to balance work, child rearing, and a personal life, which can be tough. So don't date one if you expect her to drop everything when you call, because it simply won't happen.

Seriously though, I don't understand why young guys date single mothers(you didn't say how old you were). You have these kids that aren't yours and her ex is always going to be in her life. To each his own but it's not for me.

one good thing about her being single is you dont got to worry about her baby daddy comeing around ,a girl will most of the time still have a heart for her babbys father.bad thing about it she will be all up on you and want to be together alot more

They have children or a child. If you cosider this a con stay away. Otherwise, they're just like any other woman.
