*glug glug*

no reports, please, just trying to ease some tension off my pal, Jif...everyone is entitled to their belief or lack thereof; this is America, FREEDOM OF RELIGION, EVER HEARD OF IT?the land of the free, the home of the brave...*sip* and to other christians here, PLEASE do your best to show Jesus' love and true teachings to love one another, that is the best witness. I will say to the regular atheists here that I have truly been enlightened and hope communicating with you all will help me get along with my daddy who is an atheist (oh, by the way, to the chick that said my mom and dad got me this computer---i'm 34 years old; in the south we still call our father's daddy) *glug*; anyway---y'all have a wonderful weekend. Why can't we all just get along?- Rodney King

Oh i'll follow his teaching of love one another, but as for your friend Jif, I'm sure he's already been reported for insulting groups of people in a previous question. It might of been his point of view, but if a radio jockey can get into trouble for expressing what he thinks, so can Jif.

As far as them being in this section, I have no idea why they come here. If they don't believe in anything, they aren't spiritual nor do they have a religion. Some are here for the sole purpose of causing trouble and trying to make people angry, others are here because they are honestly curios about things, still others are here just to converse and share their opinion which is just fine. The only ones that are a bother are the ones the bible told us about, the scoffers. The ones who intentionally come to start trouble and pick a fight if at all possible. I have no problems with people who believe in something else and have questions or dont understand something, I'll help if possible, but if you are here to insult and degrade, you deserve what comes after.

Atheists are really people who can not accept a definition of God in the rational sense. You can't that's why. But at some point, that urge to find the 'source' will compel them to act. What is stopping them at times is that when they try, others open up their heads and try to pour in their definition of what God should be.

All of us are 'Atheist's at one point or another. You will notice too that they make very strong converts once that effort to merge God and rationalism is exhausted.

The problem with some modern day Christians is they push Jesus instead of his message. So I agree with you on spreading the love. But branding people as Atheists (Heretics prior) does not make for a good environment to spread the word.

There was no such thing as free speech there was only such thing as being free to say what people want to hear. Unless you want to cause chaos in a country like the Muslims in Britain that way the govt. doesnt want to interfere. Me bieng able to say all this is free speech but I'm hiding behind a computer screen just like everyone else on this site.

This isn't the Christian section. This is a section for any discussion of religious and spiritual matters. Atheists feel they have something to contribute to this conversation, and they are regularly addressed by religious community members.

I didn't click on a christian Q & A section. I clicked on the Religion and Spirituality Q & A section. I consider myself spiritual despite that christians say atheists can't be spiritual. I know who am more than you know.

There shouldn't even be a word "atheism." After all do we have words for people who don't believe that Elvis is still alive; or a word for people who don't believe aliens are abducting our cows; or a word for people who don't believe in the tooth fairy? Atheism is nothing more than the noises rational people make in the presence of the delusionsal.

Maybe cause they're asking questions of/challenging the christians? Just a thought. There are probably lots of christians/other religions in the muslem section (if there is one) asking them questions too.

Not everyone on here is American you know! Some of us are English!

The atheists are trying to enlighten the christians. That's all.

Funny I was just wondering why there were so many Christians on the Atheist Q and A section?
