The Watch tower is wrong.
A person as to have person relationship
with Jesus Christ. They can have
asurrance of salvation by excepting
Jesus into your heart. By asking
Jesus to come into your heart and
save you. the Watchtower is not a
way to salvation.

The Scriptures do not record a single instance in which any person "prayed" to Jesus.

Literally every time a bible character directed words to the Christ, Jesus Christ appeared to be right there in sight of the speaker.

Jehovah's Witnesses pray to Jehovah through God's appointed mediator Jesus Christ.

(Romans 12:12) Persevere in prayer.

(1 Thessalonians 5:17) Pray incessantly.

(1 Timothy 2:5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus

(John 14:6) Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

(John 16:19,23) Jesus knew they were wanting to question him, so he said to them: “...If you ask the Father for anything he will give it to you in my name.

(John 14:9,13,14) Jesus said to him: “..Also, whatever it is that you ask in my name, I will do this, in order that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Thanks for another opportunity to share the bible truth that Jehovah God the Father is a distinct person from Jesus Christ the Son!

I have to address a statement that was made from page 1 at the bottom of page-
"The only true God is Jehovah. Jesus is God's first creation.
(This is Not True See John 1:1)

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." -- Colossians 1:15 ( they again forget about John 1:1)

We have to pray only to Jehovah God because he is our Creator and he demands exclusive devotion. (Yes, so is Jesus)

Here's what the Jehovah witness believe and don't believe:
-They believe that Jesus was created by God as the Ark Angel Michael.
-They don't believe that Jesus was God in the Flesh, Immanuel (God With Us).
-They don't believe in the trinity, Father, Son, Spirit are Equal and one. One God, in 3 person...father, son, and Holy Spirit.
-They believe Revelation has already happened, the seals broken
-They believe only a select number (see Revelation) will enter into heaven.
-They don't believe in Hell or the new city of Jersuleam, heaven (which does not take place on this earth) they believe it's this earth, but the bible says this earth will be destroyed and John saw the new city coming down from heaven.
-they don't believe in the rapture, the word rapture is not in the bible but it's taken from the biblical word "Caught Up" which means raptur in Greek. Which means rapture in English.

They really don't understand that Jesus was God from the beginning, before he became the son of man. John 1:1 says Jesus was the word of God, not the Ark Angel. Angels was the first created beings, but Jesus was not an Angel, but the word of God (John 1:1) who became flesh (John 1:14).

So yes, majority of Christians pray to Jesus, because he is fully God and we get baptized in the trinity. They are all equal and are One. Think of this,

Jesus in the beginning was the word of God. The word of God became flesh, he was born of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus. Jesus testifies of the father. Father gave everything to Jesus! He is Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. So yes, they are all equal and one!

They also don't understand that every person has a spirit in them, and when you die..you either go to hell or heaven, if Jesus is your savior and you have a personal relationship with him. The most important part of salvation is the blood of Jesus and a relationship with him. They don't understand how a person can burn forever, again it's not the body that leaves, but the soul.

If you are unfamiliar with what a Christian believes, this is the difference between misguided and truth. Yes, Jesus is coming again with the cloud of Heavens and the sound of trumpets.

Are you ready!

Are you implying that we dont believe that Jesus is our Saviour? How misguided you are. The exact title of our organization is THE CHRISTIAN CONGRAGATION OF JEHOVAHS WITNESSES.
We come to everyones door publishing Jehovahs kingdom and his now reigning KING JESUS CHRIST!!!

our upcoming district assembly is intitled
FOLLOW THE CHRIST!

The ransom sacrifice is the basis for salvation, and as King and everlasting High Priest, Christ Jesus has the authority and power “to save completely those who are approaching God through him.” (Heb 7:23-25; Re 19:16) He is “a savior of this body,” the congregation of his anointed followers, and also of all who exercise faith in him.—Eph 5:23; 1Jo 4:14; Joh 3:16, 17.

You seem a little panicked. Are you beginning the worry that you have been praying the wrong way all this time? Not following the instructions of Christ, or the examples of the Apostles?

Firstly I need to bring out that the Watchtower magazines are only Bible aides. As are our other publications.
Jehovahs Witnesses hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.
Jehovahs Witnesses never claim salvation is through the Watchtower - that doesnt even make sense!
Faith in Jesus' ransom sacrifice is of course required for forgiveness of sins.
And Christ is the mediator between God and humans.
Jesus Christ deserves our respect and honor as Jehovah God's King and High Priest but even Christ said at Matt.4:10 and Luke4:8:"...it is Jehovah your God you must worship and it is to Him alone, you must render sacred service."
The entire Scriptural record testifies that Jehovah is the One to whom prayer should be directed(Ps.5:1,2;Matt.6:9),
that He is "the Hearer of prayer"(Ps.65:2;66:19)and has power to act in behalf of the petitioners.(Mr.11:25;Eph.3:20).
Jesus himself taught his followers to pray to God at Mat.6:9.
The apostle Paul wrote:"In everything,by prayer and suplication, along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God"(Php.4:6)
Jehovahs Witnesses dont pray to Jesus because the Bible clearly teaches that our prayers and worship belong only to Jehovah God,and Christ as being the mediator only.

Through the Holy Spirit, In the name of Jesus, TO God Almighty Jehovah.

This is proper.

Jesus being the only begotten Son of God, is not God, but is one with God in purpose and Spirit and being. This is not a hard concept for anyone to understand.

Jesus is of and from God, but not God.

This is simple and fits as the texts in the Greek et al are written.

Jesus never said to pray to him. Remember the Apostles asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.
Jesus said Father......So we pray to the Father through Jesus.
No man can come to the Father except through me Jesus said. We have to listen to the Bible. We can't allow traditions of man to corrupt true worship. I have studied the Bible long and hard and prayed to God for his Spirit to open my heart and reveal his truth. When you read the Bible you have to be honest and humble. I am a Jehovah's Witness and we should pray to Jehovah through Jesus Christ.

Jehovah's Witnesses follow the example of Jesus Christ, and he only prayed to the Father.

Jesus' own Model Prayer begins: "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name." (Matthew 6:9)

Also, the prayers of Jesus' apostles were addressed to the Father. St. Paul said, "For this cause I bend my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 3:14)

Jesus said, "...whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you." (John 15:16)

Thus, we pray to the Father, in the name of Jesus.

The ordinary practice of New Testament Christians is to pray to the Father, in Jesus' name, not to pray to Jesus.

There are one or two verses where prayer may appear to be requested of Jesus as the risen Lord, but one or two occurrences do not constitute a regular practice, compared to the many, many times that Christians in the New Testament address prayer to the Father only.

To sum up: Jesus tells us to pray to the Father, and he did so himself, as did his apostles. On the other hand, Jesus never told us to pray to him, nor are there any examples of his apostles regularly doing so.
