Well, duh. There are more racists on here than you can shake a stick at. The delicious irony is that they rarely get punished, but anyone posting anything else that is even slightly un-pc get reported. Sigh...

I know many Mexicans who aren't illegal and are Mexican..not American. However, they speak perfect english, have jobs, pay taxes, and have assimilated into American society. What I do hate are Illegal Immigrans of any country who come here and suck our system dry. The major problem seems to be with Mexico promoting illegal immigration so they don't have to support their poor. I've been to Mexico and thought the Mexicans were very nice. They even spoke English at the resort!! Imagine that? They can speak it there for tourists, but not here where they want to live? Hmmm...

I am a Mexican mix but I am an American citizen what i do hate is when mexicans approach me speakin spanish and I say i don't speak Spanish they say in the Mexican culture I would be seen as disrespectful. That's OUTRAGEOUS since my father(who was Mexican) was not around! Now that, is disrespectful to judge me before you even know my circumstances and then to just assume that anyone that looks spanish, mexican, or whatevers can speak Spanish while you're here in america is crazy!! Oh and by the way Willie it doesn't matter Latino or not, Mexicans are Latin and they are not the only one's coming here ILLEGALLY!!Thank you!!! Oh and I forgot to add "I DON"T HATE MEXICANS or any other race for that matter! I don't like the IGNORANCE!!!

This country is drained of money because of the wars, and services provided for illegal immigrants especially from Mexico. Too many gangs, too much crime involving drugs, prostitution and everything else. too many people in prisons. The ones that do work, don't pay taxes, and send their cash back to Mexico. I am white and slightly handicapped. There is no way for me to get financial help. I switched to the field that could accommodate me, paying for my school by myself. However, if I was Mexican or black, no problem. Help would be on the way. How could we ever discriminate against Mexicans?

Not true. I am completely against illegal immigration, but not because of hate. And deep inside you must know that. I am white, but my grand children are Mexican. I love them with every inch of my being. I have Mexican neighbors which I adore and some white ones I can't stand. The people I know including Mexicans are against illegal entry period. I get offended when someone calls me racist over this. This is not a racial issue with me. I have been color blind my whole life and judge people by the way they treat me and my family.

Why do people anywhere lie? This is not an American trait. We actually lie less than MOST of the world, but back to your main point; My problem with Mexicans is that they're here in such great numbers. The only reason they're here in such great numbers is because they're here illegally. I know and work with some Mexicans, some legal, and some illegal. I've also had this discussion with them. My problem with them being here in such great numbers is that they're causing our language and culture to become more fragmented than I think it should be. Of course Americans resent this. People of any country would. Imagine as a Mexican living in your native country happy prosperous. You have a language and values that bind you. Now, imagine millions of English-speaking Americans illegally flooding over the border. Now imagine yourself calling any business in Mexico which you've dealt with for years and having to listen to English prompts, which hypothetically you don't understand. You would probably find this annoying. Now, imagine certain Americanized neighborhoods, where you are now considered an outsider popping up in certain areas of Mexico. Now, imagine the public education system catering to these English speaking immigrants. Suddenly your children aren't getting the same quality of spanish education as they used to, because the system is trying to balance the needs of these English speaking illegals along with the needs of your children. Now, imagine Millions of these American illegals flooding your social security system with phony numbers and causing mass disorganization. Also, imagine Mexico's prison system and courts being flooded with Americans at a disproportionate rate. By the way, your tax dollars hard at work paying for it! How about the millions of illegals who would be mooching off your welfare system and other public services. These Americans wouldn't be paying for as much of it either, because many of them would be working under-the-table, and staying under the radar. Imagine if Mexico were as prosperous and full of opportunity as our country, you were still there, and you watched all of this happening around you. How would YOU feel! Come on, don't lie! Seriously, How would you feel! Personally, most of they Mexicans I know are good people, and I like them. It's not that Americans are prejudiced or bigoted people, It's just that we don't like to see our language and culture fall apart. We also don't like to see illegals in our country victimizing it. Get some perspective on the real situation instead of choosing to misportray Americans because it suits your own agenda to do so.

Yeah the antis claim not to be racists just because they don't consider themselves to be, but that's how all racists are. Definitely illegal immigration stopped being a political issue long ago: now it is a nativistic issue. People don't want to hear anything from Latin Americans, their language, or customs. They reject anything that's gotta do with us. What most of them don't realize is that we wouldn't be coming to their country if they hadn't provoked Latin America's poverty by exploiting OUR resources and intervening in OUR politics. This is a cause and effect case, you messed with our countries, now you have to put up with the consequences of such imperialism.

Most Americans do not hate Mexicans; however, we do not approve of the millions of illegals who invade our country every year. They are violating the sovereignty of our nation and they must be deported. We object to the Mexicans who use our social services, use our emergency rooms, give birth to "anchor babies," and commit crimes while they are here. Mexico is becoming a drug country like Columbia, and they export tens of billions of illegal drugs into the US every year.
Without the US, Mexico would be in a constant state of rebellion. Mexico receives at least 50 billion dollars a year from our country, and we house at least 20 million of your citizens. We want all illegal aliens to be deported whether they are Mexican, Chinese, Irish, or Brazilian!

There is no reason to hate Mexicans, when there is a draft they are always the most willing to enlist in the Armed Forces, one race never found guilty of Military treason against the U.S., when they take citizenship they as if not more seriously than anyone, they are people of strong faith and families. Mexicans may have their problems but no more than anyone else and by the way I'm Mexican.

I live in a border city by Mexico, and the crime statistics are the reason in my area why people despise Mexicans, illegal or not.
6 out of 10 violent crimes are at the hands of Mexicans.
9 out 10 identity thefts are committed by Mexicans.
9 out of 10 carjacking incidents, which lead to police chases involve Mexicans.
The drugs manufactured or trafficked in are by Mexicans.
The legal Mexicans here help the illegals in, and most are violent gang members coming over.
I don't care if they kill each other, but it doesn't work out that way.
More innocent people are in the wrong place at the wrong time and are killed by Mexicans, whether it be in gun violence or car chases.
There was a series of identity thefts by Mexicans who worked at a dialysis center just last month.
While the sick people were hooked up for dialysis, two Mexican nurses went through their things and stole their wallets.
I don't have an answer for the problem, but our house is up for sale.
Crime has ruined this once beautiful border city.
