Here's how to stop WMP from being the default media player....
1. Click Start, then Click program access & defaults.
2. Check Custom then click the pull down arrow.
3. On choose a default Media player, check use my current media player, then check access to this program, the click OK. ...Done.

Open whatever program you want to use and set it as the default for all file types. If you don't have any other program, I suggest using AlShow, it's free and works much better than WMP.

Control pannel> add or remove programs> Set program acesses and defaults.

open my document or wherever you music is. right click on an mp3, and click on "Open with". Go to choose from list. Select what ever you want, like Itunes, adn select "Always use this program", or whatever it says
