Yes there is a God.
He is our Father (our Heavenly Father)...like Jesus taught when teaching his disciples to pray..."Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name..."
He is the literal Father of our Spirit. We are His children.
You can know Him personally by...receiving a testimony...or rather by having God reveal Himself to you...You can pray for that and request that of Him...He will reveal Himself to you according to His own will, His own time, and in His own way...then you will know with 100% certainty that He exists.
You can also know him personally (in a different sense) by understanding his character (He is unchanging, He knows everything, He is just, He is merciful, He has perfect judgment, and that He is a God of truth...)
You can develop a personal relationship with Him through prayer and through the promptings of the Holy Ghost teaching you and by being obedient and righteous in those things that you already know are right.

Yes there is a God and a Jesus. My personal relationship with them is in my spirit. Although I know many do not believe it, once the holy spirit enters, you just KNOW its there. I can't explain it any better than that and I certainly cannot prove it.
I call on that spirit a dozen times a day...every day...just to say thank you to God...or to wonder about something...or to ask a question. The spirit is my communication link to God and Jesus and it is through the spirit that God and Jesus communicate with me. I know it sounds weird and if someone were to have told me this ten years ago I would have thought they were bonkers. But now, some people just think I am bonkers.
Having this spirit (and it is what Jesus promised would happen when you believe and trust in Him)
is the most fantastic experience that I have ever had or ever hope to have. It is like walking around with this tremendous sense of power over anything that might come your way. You are cautious but have no fear...you are thoughtful but face no indicision...it is absolutely great!

That is a question that a lot of people would answer differently... what are you looking for? I would say that yes, there definitely is a God and that he loves and cares for everyone very much. God is the Creator of the Universe and the Savior of all Mankind. He offered His Son for our life. To know Him, you must accept that Jesus died on the cross (and everything that means and entails...) and ask Him to forgive you personally for your sins. From then on you must simply open your heart to His word and the Holy Spirit.

yes there is
he is one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes.
No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.
God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent.

Yes. But I don't believe God(s) can be anthropomorphized. I believe the Christian (and Abrahamic) perception of the highest God is wrong. I do feel a personal connection so yes, I know the highest God (metaphorically speaking).

I don't see God as a being.
Twice in my life I have encountered a Power. It looked like Light, and it felt like Love. I mean, LOVE. I was afloat in a sea of *pure* *unconditional* *LOVE*, completely engulfed. Words don't even begin to convey the power of the experience. Now, I do my best to act from that Love, every minute.
I don't claim to know whether that was God or not, but I am happy to live by it.

I've posted my response to this same question numerous times already and don't feel it's needed now!
Suffice to say, be ye thankful that you didn't live in the ancient days of 'Mount Oympus' and Atlantis, when the socalled 'gods of this world' were CRUEL to mankind, wicked and evil! And took to themselves, by FORCE, ALL daughters of men they chose for wifes!! Genesis 6 In the days before the GREAT flood, when Satan was truly in rulership of the nations, and after this!! Read Isaiah 14, and Ezekiel 28 for the Bible references.

Yes... He is! God is whom He's always been- the Creator of heaven & earth. The burden Bearer, way Maker, miracle Bringer, etc. I know Him personally b/c I've suffered to a point where I had to seek a Higher Power!

Yes. How do I know? Answer me this. How can the existence of God be any more improbably that our own existence?
To get to know God personally, start by being grateful for the fact that he is already working in your life. EXPECT Miracles, EXPECT to feel loved, EXPECT to have him send you all good things. EXPECT for your soul to grow, EXPECT peace. And as you EXPECT all these things, send gratitude. Know that they are already yours (whether or not they have manifested themselve in your life yet). Know that he is working overtime to give you abundant life.
See how easy?
