How old is your little sister? If she's a toddler, well, give her the basics that she can hold in her hands and digest: chicken tenders, apple slices, jello, carrot stix and such. If she's in the "past toddler but not yet teen age", then chicken tenders with ranch dressing, pizza, carrots and ranch dressing, spaghetti, or hamburgers with fries usually do the trick.

grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup.
pbj crackers with ham and cheese roll up. i put sliced ham and swiss cheese (you can use any cheese slice) on a tortilla and then roll up and cut into slices. like slicing a banana. and it's fun to put toothpicks in each "slice". kids will dip these in either honey mustard or ranch dressing.
you can also make mac n cheese and add cut up COOKED Kosher hot dog weiners. (koshers is completely natural ...try Nathans.)
good luck...and have fun.

i don't know her age but most children love to help in preparing supper. try a chef salad (make like a salad bar ) she can help break-up lettuce put diced veggies, meats (like ham and bacon) in little bowls.be sure to have chunk cheeses, cherry tomatoes (all her favorites!).serve with Texas toast.you can find that in the frozen food section.you'll both have fun and eat well.
