No. I believe in the Bible record. If we were evolved from the monkeys, it would be in the Bible. : )

What the whole "Adam and Eve" story is about is when mankind passed through that door from being just another animal to being an aware, spatially thinking human. The difference between animals and humans is that animals get all their advancement from Darwinist evolution, but mankind can invent and discover our world and universe. As a result, humans have to follow a path in life and be responsible for that path. This has resulted in religions, morals, etc. No one would blame a Shark for biting off someones leg, but when Mike Tyson bites off someones ear, we judge that action as savage-in fact making comparisons to such beasts. Myself I don't have too many hangups being related to a monkey. I think everything in the Universe is related in one way or another.

There is some truth to your statement.
If you read earlier newspaper and magazine articles from the time period when Darwinism was first announced, they are full of political cartoons along those lines.
This debate was brilliantly demonstrated in the movie "Inherit the Wind" starring Spencer Tracy and Fredric March. An excellent debate between creationists and evolutionists based on a true story of a teacher being fired for teaching evolution.

No it is not. Evolutions do not believe humans were descended from Monkeys, just a monkey like ancestor. Creationist do not believe in macro evolution because we believe that God created man to be unique compared to the animals. If we were descendants of animals were loose our unique characteristics.

The evoolutionary theory disagrees with what our God tells us. That alone is the only reason that I have for disliking the theory. It is no different than if someone told me that it was okay to sin. I would dislike that also because it disagrees with what my God has said.
The fact (and yes I accept it as fact) that their is a biological connection between species on this planet is not an issue. As I have stated many times in the past....when you have already invented the wheel....why would you re-invent it every time you wanted to change tires on your car. God's design worked the first time....and He simply continued to use it as he created the next step in his process. Genesis is pretty clear that God said in each case....It is good...To me that says that he liked what he did and would most likely do something similar again.

Let us suppose that millions of years ago a cell was formed which had acquired everything necessary for life, and that it duly "came to life". The theory of evolution again collapses at this point. For even if this cell had existed for a while, it would eventually have died and after its death, nothing would have remained, and everything would have reverted to where it had started. This is because this first living cell, lacking any genetic information, would not have been able to reproduce and start a new generation. Life would have ended with its death.

Whatever are 'fundies'? Are you referring to Christian Fundamentalists?
Well, we share a LOT of genetic material with apes. In fact, humans are more closely related to Chimps than rats are to mice.
But you know what- we are ALSO very similar genetically to bananas.
Which, by the way, your question is driving me. He he he.
*Starts screeching like a pissed-off, horny monkey- starts swinging from the chandelier, and throws Poo at everyone in the room.

Evolutionists theme song:
I used to be an ameba, living life completely free.
Then I became a fish, swimming in the sea.
Then I was monkey, hanging from a tree,
And now, I'm a doctor with a Ph. D.!

Yes, they find it somehow degrading, as if the suggestion is that they're even still monkeys.
I love the argument that goes, "Evolution is just a theory and can't be proven. And that's a fact!" :P

They don't know anything about it. Thier preachers, ministers etc tell them not to read things like that. They are told that this is how the devil gets in thier hearts and minds. So they don't.
I response to another answerer, how can one completly believe any concept when you have not done all you can to research its pros and cons?. Even the bible tells its readers to search the truth for themselves.
