Yes...all are sins are washed away when we repent and ask for forgiveness if we do it once or a thousand times.
God told us to forgive 70 times 7.
Seven=completeness in God word so that means 70 time copleteness.

God would not require us to forgive more than He would forgive...and He requires us to forgive 490 times...which was kind of like saying...no limit.

So, God forgives us...1 John 1:9..."If we confess our sins He forgives our sins..."

Jesus took ALL of our sin on Him on the cross...the only sin that can't be forgiven is the sin of rejecting Jesus as Savior and Lord.

It is important that we do not use this as a license to sin, though.

Well, think about it. Most people sin the same sin over and over again. The answer is yes-if you truly repent. The real question though is-how long will God be patient with you?

God never punishes. You punish yourself. There is no sin. What you do knowing that to be wrong, is an avoidable action which you should not repeat. There is nothing called sin. It is foolish to do a thing which you know that you should not have done. Pray God for strength to do only things right.

From what I'm told, God wants to forgive us.

But if we make the same mistake over and over, God will step in and correct us, perhaps in a way that we may not enjoy.

The important thing is to worry about the present, and not the past. Our job is to write this story as well as we can, and we can't write properly if we're always stuck in the past.

So do the right thing now, and you won't have to worry about more past mistakes in the future.

Yes....Jesus told Peter that Peter would deny Him three times...but He also said that he would be the rock upon which He would build His Church.

Jesus also said, ""If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, ‘I repent,’ forgive him."
