To live until I die.

When I was a teenager, many years ago, I use to wonder what life, and my life in praticular, was all about, .. even though I was raised up in a Christian home!
But now I am much older and hopefully much wiser, and I now know that the purpose of ALL our lives on earth is to get to know our loving Almighty God, to love Him with and serve Him with ALL our mind, soul and body, and to LOVE our fellow man as Christ so LOVED us!
God as a plan for each of our lives, if we would only choose to find out what that plan is, whether it be to get married or not, be a gospel singer or not, become a minister or the faith, or just witness to our friends. Be a missionary in some far off country, or right here in America! Work an eight hour day for someone else, or have OUR OWN business!!!
God loves us and has had a plan for each of us, even before we were born!

My grandmother told me that you have a purpose on earth, that you would not die until you fulfilled your purpose, and you might never know what your purpose is. Is that vague enough? I don't believe in wondering what my purpose is, that would be a waste of my time. Instead I give my life purpose. My purpose in life is to learn and to utilize this education. I make sure that I smile at people, hopefully it makes them feel better. I enjoy life and hope that that fulfills some purpose.

Yes, but I have also realized that wondering about my purpose is the same as wonder what the purpose of a grain of sand is.

Yes I did once. Then I decided to get on with the business of living and that the purpose would reveal itself. What is funny is, I don't know if it has yet or not.

Yes... I was a really horrible person in a past life who likely persecuted groups of people, to be reborn into this life where I'm among one of the groups legally sanctioned to be discriminated against and hated. I.e. I'm reaping the fruition of my bad karma.

Yes I have.

I live each day as everyone else.
Seems as though if you have a purpose, you may perform it and not know you did it.
