i put on a bit of cover up, but my bf says he likes me with out any. my friends say i should wear more. (eye liner, eye shadow, lipstick.) do men like women with or without makup?

Depends on the guy. Make-up (if its not too dramatic) will catch the guys eye, but once you start dating and he get to know you he will probably like your natural beauty better. If you boyfriend tells you he likes you better without it don't wear it, unless your self conscience when you don't wear it, tell him that.

Your beauty comes from within you, not what you wear. You don't have to wear any make up to be beautiful, a little bit can look good but you don't want so much that you look like Mimi on the Drew Carey show. I find women to be beautiful whether they where make up at all. A little bit of lipstick or gloss, and maybe a light amount of eye shadow or some mascara is ok, but putting on too much can make someone less attractive because it makes them seem fake.

There is nothing more beautiful that a girl leaving her bath after all the falseness has been washed away. She is the beauty of Gods' Creation and what she lacks in appeal outside can be found inside.

It is so easy for a person to love something or someone beautiful to look at. If that is what you are trying to sell then go for it and enjoy your stars that shine.

On the other hand, sensible men truly prefer a lady whom "enhances" her beauty and not one that paints an entirely different person . This is done with more than makeup as it also includes personality, interests, responsiveness, clothing style and even posture, whether it is in motion or not.

Beauty is only skin deep and men can accept that but if he feels beauty is only "paint thin", it's a complete turnoff.

Be yourself, not someone you are not...!

Personally from my point of view a woman who is natural is more beautiful. There is nothing like seeing a woman the way God intended her to be. To see her eyes natural and face is just like looking at a flower you just don't get tired of the beauty!

I think all guys are different. My dad HATES makeup on women and always made a point of telling me so, but I know a lot of guys who think women look much better with it. I don't think it matters all that much, though, but if I know a guy either likes it or doesn't and I'm going out with him, I tend to make up accordingly.

no, no, no none of that... guys like the natural "look" but if you wear your make up right they'd never notice. avoid heavy lipsticks and dark eye make up... although I'd personally love to live by "its expensive to look this cheap"... try to buy quality makeup and go for the natural look... your boy freind won't know you're wearing any.

if you have to cover something up to be attractive, then you should cover it up. guys like women who dont have to put on their face every day, of course most people are gonna look a little plainer, but if you can dress up nice once in a while to go out that is what is cool.

I think my girlfriend looks good with minimal makeup. But honestly, it's to the point where looks don't even matter to me anymore. I love her.

Heavy makeup is cool for special occasions when you really wanna turn him on or something. But everyday stuff ... keep it on the lighter side.

some women need it. others don't. I happen to believe less is more. some is nice, but there are those girls out there that put the foundation on some think that there is a line between their face and neck. terrible.
