I was given, by the vet, deworming med for both dogs. I was going to start puppy on her med on april 22nd. I started my adult dog this week. When I went to give my adult dog his final pill wrapped in a treat she spit it out, and the puppy swooped in, and ate it. I'm an american living in Germany, so I called the German vet. He said since they are same weight puppy will be okay, and has been fine the past 3 days no vomiting or anything, but should I start her deworming med on the 22nd as planned? I can not understand the german vet very well.

I have seen no worms in my dogs poop. I always deworm puppies right before 2nd vaccinations, and give worm med yearly there after.

Deworming meds are dosed based on weight, so if your puppy and adult dog are the same (or similar) weight, then the dosages would have been the same.
If she ate your other dog's deworming meds, then her deworming has already started. Keep the proper schedule from the date she ate the first one.

It should be OK, veterinary de-wormers are very safe, they're difficult to overdose on really.

You don't need to wait for 2nd vaccination times - puppies can, and in fact should, be wormed from a few days old - the mother should have been wormed while she was pregnant if they came from a good breeder. There are plenty of veterinary preparations available suitable for very young puppies. They are also available in paste or granule form if the dog spits tablets out.

The pup is wormed. I would give the adult the last pill alone without the pup around. If he spits it out, pill him. Take the pill and put it all the way back in his throat and hold his mouth until he swallows. Some dogs won't do the treat route.
