I give mine an 8. I like it because it uses rechargable batteries, and those are costworthy. The screen is big enough and you can zoom on it. The software it comes with is easy to use and good enough. It has 3.2 megapixels, which is good and on a 128mb card I get over 200 pics, way over. It is also user-friendly. It's a great camera if you are not a professional photographer.

There is no way to take action shots and that's why I deduct 2 points. It also "reloads" slowly after a pic is taken, often 5 or more seconds before I can shoot again.

I have used a Kodak easyshare camera since birth almost and i have found that they are probably more dependable then sony or any other brand. I would say 10!!!

Pick a specific model or two. Some are very nice and some are basically starter cameras or toys. This isn't quite as easy as asking if Ford makes good vehicles, but it's close.

i own 2, my first was a kodak eashshare CX6330, got it about 2 years ago, easy to use, i give it a 10, i just recently purchased the eashshare Z612, i give it a 10 also.

I have one and I love it. I have the Z710 model and it's probably a 9. I don't know that I could do more things with it.
It has a lot of capabilities. It wasn't that expensive either.
