How do you feel about the immigration issue?

I think people should come here legally but it takes years, sometimes over 10 years and if thats the case that in itself should be a crime as well. People should not be treated as criminals for bettering their life. Now for the drug traffikers and people who authentically break the law they should be punished but come on now! We are only making it harder for ourselves by putting everyone in jail.

Obviously you haven't done research in this area. Not all terrorists are from the middle east, and it's not the Mexicans we are afraid of.
Many of Al Qaida members came across the Mexican border into Arizona. These include: Mubarak al-Duri, Wadih el Hagem Hani Hanjour, and Mohammed Bayazid.
Also, in 2004 more than 2 dozen members of Chechnya's Islamofanatic faction enterend the U.S. through Mexico.
Next time you want to make such a statement I suggest you learn a little bit about what you're saying.

More than Mexicans cross the border. The middle-easterners are being trained I think I read in South America and there may be areas in Mexico. They learn Spanish in order to blend in and cross over.

Secondly there is the issue of the reconquesta (or however it's spelled) as well as LaRaza and MeCha and all the other extreemist, racist groups who have claimed they are taking our country over. Kill the Gringo and all that.

Thirdly is the concentrated effort to NOT assimilate and run people out of their towns to take over and attempt to alter our nations language.

Fourth.....they come from a very violent and criminal place to where it seems they are accustomed to that lifestyle and continue it here. There's the gangs, drugs and all the other part they bringing with them. There is not a day that goes by where there isn't some horrible crime committed. It's not enough to simply kill someone....they have to do it in more a terriorist fashion.

There's a growing number with an attitude that they will control us and other various statements that are pretty much verbatum out of the terriorist language book of threats and intimidation.

Now maybe they think they're being macho or something but I don't find it acceptable. Again....it's not ALL but enough to be a very real threat that I do not take lightly. I was sickened by the beheadings in the middle-east.....just to find out it's pretty much common-place in Mexico with the drug cartels. The rape and abuse of women and children is rampent and frankly.....I don't trust to be safe by any of them when there's an obvious deep hatred for us. Nobodys exactly wearing a t-shirt that lets you know who is and who isn't going along with those extreemist beliefs. Especially when you can't communicate with most of them because they won't speak English.

If you all stop and think about it what way is it easiest for someone to enter this country? Across the mexican border. Its been proven that some of the terrorsits came from the other side. If we can not stoop the illegals from coming in then what is that telling you about the terrorists? Whos to say that they one day wont start doing the same as a terrorist?

It's the Mexican border that the "TERRORISTS" "ARE" coming through, and I feel sorry for Mexican's theyr'e goverment is so corrupt and theyr'e starving family's, risking everything, just trying to survive, who are coming here, they need to set up a work permit system, and CLOSE the border's completely, by using electronic barrier's, and as for the ones who are here, well they should get in line but go to the back of the line, this problem has to be dealt with, in a compassionate way.

BUT, The drug dealers and rapists and murderer's, should automaticaly be given MANDITORY DEATH SENTENCES.

It's a different kind of terrorism. It's not as spectacular as blowing something up; it's slower, and more subtle.
Economic terrorism by depleting our medical and public school resources; artificially bringing down wages & taking away jobs from Americans that are not willing to live in squalor. And yes, outright terror, and repeat offenders , like the current situation in Virtginia Beach. Did I mention the drug related terror coming
over the mexican boarder? These aren't exactly boy scouts
crossing the boarder ILLEGALLY.

Terrorists come from any country, not just the middle east. The Mexican issue is a matter of them and others from south and central America illegally entering this country. If the US had any balls it would send them all home when they are located. If they come back shoot them on sight. I don't buy the arguement they are coming here for a better life. It doesn't fly. If you want to come to the US....DO IT LEGALLY OR STAY HOME.

America does not hate Mexicans. I am so sick and tired of hearing the anti-latino crap. It has nothing to do with Mexicans, Cubans, Guatemalans, or Columbians. It has to do with a national border that is not being secured. The 9-11 hijackers came into this country through customs with fake documentation. The attack took years to plan out and execute. How simple do you think it would be for someone to inject themself with a contageous disease and just walk around. Or drive a truck laden with a Nuclear bomb in the back. If a bunch of people can sneak into this country to just pick lettuce for $1.00 an hour, what would happen if someone wanted to actually harm americans?
Enough with this white discrimination against Latinos!!! That is crap.If you still feel that way, come back to reality and quit smoking whatever it is that is scrambling your head!!!

It is not that we are afraid, only that if I enter the country of Mexico illegaly I will be thrown in jail, I will not be given free schooling, free medical and even in some cases food stamps. So you can see why we would resent the illegals that come across illegally start gangs, (there are currently 2 in our town) and they leave there writings all over train cars, buildings and under bridges, in Spanish of course. Also schools must go to extra expenses of teaching them in there language of course which costs us the tax payer more, and with our schools having trouble making ends meet, you can imagine what the free meals and even breakfasts cost.
NOT afraid Just Mad.....
