house phone, mobile phones and ice cream van...he sings away..but is it hurting his ears?

yes it hurts is ears. High pitched sounds will do that..

The noise is hurting his ears. A dog's hearing is easily 10 times more sensitive than ours, and often certain pitch tones hurt their ears.

Mine sings to corrie,eastenders ice cream van and also we sing together on playstation singstar,she likes to sing to tainted love by soft cell.its a high pitch that gets them going.no it doesn't hurt them i asked the vet.

No, it's just that particular pitch of the tone that gets them singing. Mine "sing" to the train, the fire truck, the ambulance, etc.

They also do it in the morning to get us out of bed. I wish they would get their act together, because somebody in the group is off key.

Some dogs just like the sound and will join in.

Some dogs have really sensitive hearing, so it may be that it is hurting his ears.

you can trying correcting every time he does it, but when you are away from him, it's kind of a moot point.

it doesn't hurt their ears, but pitches will cause them to "sing", my dog does this every time i play my clarinet...lol.
