I have a 1991 Mazda 626. There's problems with it, main thing being that the transmission went out.

Should I donate it? Or you think someone would buy it even tho for a couple hundred? I heard you barely benefit anything by donating.

Another thing I wish I can do is to take it out in the desert or something and have a demolition party, but the legalities of it? lol. is there any way i can do this without getting busted?

If you have the time & space to part it out, I would go that route first, otherwise donate it.

i work for a non-for profit agency that accepts car donations.
i would opt for the donations, you will get a tax write off once the car is disposed of (sold/junked,etc) and someone less fortuane could benefit from it as well. just be honest and discolose the problems the others will know what they are getting into. if you donate, right away you won't have to worry abvout parking, insurance, plate/city stickers, etc versus waiting and showing it to potential buyers!

I think you should donate it, you aren't going to get alot of money from anyone. Atleast with donating it, it's easy fast & you will get a receipt that will get you a tax refund

Yeah, I don't think a demo party is in your future. You could call a wrecking yard, see if they will buy it or take it off your hands. You do need the title, a clear title.

u could sale it for less than 1,000 dollars, there are people out there who do buy vehicles and fix them and sell them or just keep them for work cars.
