you have to know... there are a lot of science "facts" that were just accepted because it's "convenient" as of now. they really have no explanation on them. you're "scientists" are also now in debate whether to continue this teaching on evolution or not... and these now skeptic scientists are not even Christians or implying they agree on creation. THEY ARE SIMPLY AND ABSOLUTELY DOUBTFUL OF THE VERACITY OF EVOLUTION.

i'll give you one resource among many. welcome to the real world.

While it is THEORETICALLY possible that Thousands of Scientists are wrong and this country's Creationist Movement is correct, it does seem unlikely.

Unfortunately, most people in the Creationist Movement don't really understand the nature of Evolution (the "If we evolved from apes, why do we still have apes," answer comes to mind.) They also don't understand how science continues to challenge itself (believing that when two scientists disagree, it invalidates both arguments.)

More troubling for Creationism are the OTHER branches of science, like Astronomy, Geology, and physics. All of these sciences also tend to discredit Creationism.

The thing is, most Creationists have wrapped themselves up in a theology that only works if God created the world in six days. Most people (many who are Christian, by the way,) have long since turned to science to understand the origins of the universe, and turn to religion to search for the purpose of the universe.

Thousands of scientists don't agree with evolution. You really should get your facts straight. Look around you. How can you possibly believe this is an accident? Look at a cell, it's a factory man! Your body has millions and millions of parts that all do a specific function necessary to survival. That's much more complicated than a car, yet if you ran across one in the woods you'd have no doubt it wasn't a plant.

If we evolved, how did we get from a multi-celled glob of goo to a more complicated organism where the cells all worked together? You need a circulatory system for that, I guess that evolved too...but wait, for that to work you need a heart or something to move the blood (which also had to evolve of course) around...but wait, you also need a bowel system and kidneys or something similar to clean the blood and you also need a waste system to get rid of the waste...but wait, you also need a stomach or something to break down the food you ingest so the blood cells can transport it to the other cells. Hmmm....

But wait, how did it multiply? You can't have the cells dividing anymore because you now have internal cells, so you need sexual reproduction...but wait, how did these develop? Why do the male and female organ fit together so very, very well? How did the sperm and egg develop AT THE SAME TIME so that they both must come together to create a new life? How did breasts develop to feed the young? What about a uterus? Now THAT'S a complicated organ!

Keep in mind that all of the above and much, much more ABSOLUTELY had to develop in the same generation or there could be no life as we know it today. It takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does in Christianity.

Careful, it's not the number of people who believe in something that makes it true (think "flat earth"), it's the evidence that makes it true.

So, the better question might be "are thousands of scientists with verifiable evidence wrong about evolution, and you with no verifiable evidence are right?"

Of course, scientists have it right. Creationists disturb me.

And (I'm getting tired of hearing this bit of false information), there is NO debate among scientists about the fact of evolution. I don't know where people get this idea. Evolution is the cornerstone of modern biology, it is factual, and it is the truth.

Let us suppose that millions of years ago a cell was formed which had acquired everything necessary for life, and that it duly "came to life". The theory of evolution again collapses at this point. For even if this cell had existed for a while, it would eventually have died and after its death, nothing would have remained, and everything would have reverted to where it had started. This is because this first living cell, lacking any genetic information, would not have been able to reproduce and start a new generation. Life would have ended with its death.

That will be the day, when I believe my house or anything was created by a explosion. And some monkeys happened to have a baby girl and baby boy that grew up and mated.

All the evidence points to evolution, and I do not blame the scientists for believing in it. My faith in Christ is just that, "Faith", I have no science to base it on. I simply believe.

It is not impossible for God to make species evolve, but I do not believe it could occur on the timescales commonly quoted.

Great scientists like Johannes KEPLER saw God's magnificance and constantly gave praise to God Almighty for his wonderful laws built into nature. He was a creationist.

So was Isaac NEWTON.......and he wrote 1 million words about his LITERAL belief in the Scripture. He was a creationist.
" I have a fundamental belief in the Word of God....I study the Bible daily". - Isaac Newton

The electromagnetic equations of James Clerk Maxwell attest to the Magnificant mathematical inginuity of the Creator.
He was a Creationist.
Louis Pasteur...was a avid Christian and Fundamental Bible believer....

Thousands of other scientists freely admit it was their faith in God and Jesus Christ that led them to great discoveries...

Its only the ignorant who can't figure it out. Please get an education
